Proceeds allow the IBEW Local 1 Relief Fund to provide essential emergency assistance to IBEW members and their families in times of tragedy, hardship, or loss. - ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION & MISSION
The M2TU’s Ryan Dintleman Classic: Queen of Hearts Fundraiser is conducted by Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin (M2TU), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We celebrate the strength, unity, and brotherhood of the labor unions, contractors, and supply houses that power the building trades. Our mission is to raise funds that directly impact our community, honoring our collective while providing hope when it is needed most. Participation in this raffle constitutes full acceptance of these Official Rules.
- PURPOSE OF CONTRIBUTIONS & COMMUNITY IMPACT
Proceeds from this fundraiser are dedicated to several vital initiatives within the building trades community:
- IBEW Local 1 Relief Fund: Providing essential emergency assistance to IBEW members and their families in times of tragedy, hardship, or loss.
- EWMC Nonprofit Outreach: Funding vital community programs such as “Coats for Kids” and school supply drives for families in need.
- Mental Health Awareness: Expanding suicide prevention efforts throughout the building trades, breaking the stigma, and connecting workers with life-saving resources.
- ELIGIBILITY
Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of ticket purchase. The raffle is open to legal residents of states where online charitable raffles are lawfully permitted. Residents of Alabama, Hawaii, Utah, and states that prohibit online ticket sales are ineligible. M2TU Board members and designated drawing officials are ineligible to participate.
- RAFFLE SCHEDULE
- Ticket Sales Begin: July 1, 2026
- Final Ticket Sales Cut-off: December 25, 2026, at 11:59 PM
- Bi-Weekly Drawings: Drawings will occur every two weeks between July 1 and December 31.
- Conclusion: The raffle concludes when the Queen of Hearts is revealed or all remaining board numbers are drawn by December 31, 2026.
To support our community while maintaining a competitive progressive jackpot, gross ticket sales are distributed as follows:
- 50% — Community & Mission Initiatives: Distributed to the IBEW Local 1 Relief Fund, EWMC Nonprofit, and M2TU mental health initiatives.
- 30% — Grand Prize Jackpot Pool: Awarded to the ticket holder who reveals the Queen of Hearts.
- 20% — Bi-Weekly Prize Pool: Awarded to the individual ticket holder drawn during each bi-weekly drawing period.
- TICKET PRICING & ENTRY
Tickets may be purchased at the official raffle website: m2tu.com. Donation tiers are as follows:
- 1 Ticket for $5.00
- 5 Tickets for $20.00
- 15 Tickets for $50.00
- 40 Tickets for $100.00
Participants select an available number (1–54) from the digital board to be assigned to their ticket. All sales are final and non-refundable.
- THE DRAWING PROCESS
Drawings are conducted bi-weekly using a certified, unbiased random selection system. One ticket is drawn per period. If the associated card number reveals the Queen of Hearts, the Jackpot is won. If not, the card is removed from the board and the game continues. No new tickets are sold after December 25, 2026.
- PAYOUT & PRIZE CLAIMS
The Grand Prize is the accumulated 30% pool. Bi-weekly prizes are paid from the 20% pool. All prizes must be claimed within 30 days. Payouts are made via check or approved digital method after verification of identity and eligibility.
- TAX OBLIGATIONS & M2TU WITHHOLDING
As the payor, M2TU is legally responsible for complying with IRS gambling winning regulations:
- Reporting: For prizes of $600 or more, M2TU will issue IRS Form W-2G. Winners must provide a valid Social Security Number (Form W-9).
- Mandatory Withholding: For any prize exceeding $5,000, M2TU is required by federal law to withhold 24% for federal income tax before issuing the payout.
- Backup Withholding: If a winner fails to provide a valid SSN, M2TU must withhold 24% regardless of the prize amount.
- TICKET INTEGRITY & DISQUALIFICATION
Tickets are non-transferable. M2TU reserves the right to disqualify any entry found to be fraudulent, automated, or in violation of these official rules.
- DRAWING TRANSPARENCY
Drawings are monitored by M2TU officials and may be live-streamed at m2tu.com. Records are maintained for three years for regulatory compliance and transparency.
- GENERAL CONDITIONS
M2TU reserves the right to amend rules or cancel the raffle if necessary to comply with federal or state law. By participating, winners grant M2TU permission to use their likeness for promotional purposes.
